New Website

Hi Everyone,

I have tons of information to pass on to all of you so this blog may go on forever.  You can now go to www.fultonbball.com and check out my new website. There is alot of info already there with much more to come. Our next camp will start the first week of December and we will go Saturday and Sunday until the end of March like we did last year durring basketball season. I have had several people ask me about coaching their teams through the academy and I will be doing that with several groups this camp.

The Nike SPARQ training has been well received and I think all of you would agree that Jay Todd has been awesome.  We will continue to move forward with Nike SPARQ at the Academy. I will be bringing on Malinda Larsen as a coach in the next camp and you can see her bio on the website under STAFF.  She has all the credentials, High School All-American, D1 All-American at the University of Washington and she  was a college assistant coach for six years. When the opportunity presents itself to bring someone in like Malinda, I’m going to do it because it makes the Academy better.

I will also be running a camp in Sioux Falls on the days I’m not in Sioux City. I am partnering with Sanford up there and we have some huge plans for both locations down the road – and trust me this is also great for the Academy.  There will also be a link on the website to buy Fulton gear from Nike. This gear is priced around wholesale and there will be several items you can purchase. it will be up in a few days and I will contact everyone when it is on the site.

The billing for the Academy is currently being handled by Dividend Tax so don’t be alarmed when you get mail from them. I know many of you have thrown your statements away not knowing what it was — and I apologize for this, as I should have let you know we were making this change.  Moving forward we will give you more options on how you pay your bill. I am going to use PayPal for those who would prefer to pay online, but you will still have the option mail your payment if you want to do so.  I will no longer charge a $20 application fee and the t-shirts will be provided free of charge.

I recently purchased software that is an online basketball skill development trainer. The company is called XPS and it will allow Jay and I to capture all of our workouts. This is important because it also lets the parents and kids go back and see what we are doing every day at camp — along with giving them access to over 1,000 drills that they can view and work on from home.  Plus, there is a calendar so the kids can set up their own schedule. It’s very expensive and I’m still trying to figure out a way to get this to all the kids in the Academy.  It’s worth taking two minutes to watch this video overview.

Please let me know if you planning on staying in the academy and I will hold your spot.
